Hotel a Gold Hill

“This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Cigarette smoke looming throughout the entire hotel(didn't bother us but something to definitely note), the room itself was absolutely gross -- grease/ dirt grime all over the walls, shower caulking was mildew ridden, particles/ hair in the "clean sheets" on the bed, AC sounded like it was on its last leg, appliances and such were definitely older(not a bad thing but again the cleanliness was an issue), the list truly goes on. We were so tired...

“This motel is very nice. Its simple and works well. You have restaurants close by across the street along with a grocery store ...starbucks close and gas station. All within walking distance. Very convenient. I stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I would plan to stay there again. The downside is that the freeway noise is loud with the big trucks in the middle of the night. But theres nothing anyone can do about that. Its on the interstate 80 corridor....

“Pretty room with beautiful views and back patio. Breakfast disappointing, just a croissant sandwich and bad orange juice. Keurig available, but no brewed coffee. No good reading chair in room.”

“Room was not stocked with body shampoo or lotion upon arrival, didn't notice till showering. Went to front desk to let them know to please restock following day. Went out the following day and came back to only find out again that nothing was restocked. Went down to front desk again to ask for the supplies myself to take back up, after getting back to my room only to find the pump on the lotion broken. Also had the same issue with coffee for the 4 days I stayed. And no milk for my cereal....

“Hi, room was clean and tidy. The iron stand in bathroom should be stored outside in the clothing zone; with the hanger rail at least matching a 6-feet hight coat. The widened zone totally asked for walk-in curtained zone with clothing closet area and ironing zone as changing clothing and getting ready zone with a vanity mirror. However, the cost might curtailed some of these much wanted zones for room renters for conference attendance or wedding reception attendance. Beautify-hopeful wanting...

“Sink was cracked, faucet was not attached to the sink, bed and linens were clean, but very mediocre. No staff at front desk at checkout.”

“Appreciated the complimentary parking and breakfast options. The bed cover was extremely thin and probably more along the lines of a sheet. Also had to return my dirty towels for clean ones which is always a minor annoyance. Older hotel so expected wear and use but overall fine and would likely stay again with the request of additional towels and an actual blanket. ”
